When True Science gets forbidden by ignorance

The Uncertainity led conventional Ayurveda practice is devoid of any inbuilt rational standards for scientific clinical decision making in Diagnosis, Prognosis and Management of patients with different acute and chronic conditions.Currently clinical practice by Ayurved medical professionals are led by blind intuitions, self and shared experiences and Eminence Based Medicine. Blind adoption of scientific verses from Samhitas without accurate comprehension of the real meaning and intentions lead to variable and poorly standardised opinions is currently happening  in a deterministic science which adopts deductive reasoning as the golden tool of rational decision making. Ayurveda is a deterministic science unlike the western medicine which is a probabilistic one . Deductive reasoning does not start from blind observations emerging from blind and random administration of an unknown compound in a blinded population which is done in western medical research. Deductive reasoning is deterministic in nature. If the premises are proven true by the inbuilt logics of the concerned science, then the conclusions drawn are necessarily true.It involves logical inference (shaastrasahita tarka) where the truth of the premises guarantees the truth of the conclusions. So in a deterministic science, it is not the blind  opinions or blind observation led probabilistic conclusions which are valid but rather a sound and valid deductive argument approved by the rational standards of the concerned science which is valid to prove the cause -effect relationship of the conslusions.

Without the accurate comprehension of the true essence and implications of scientific verses of the samhitas, it is never possible to do deductive reasoning with accurate premises and reach sound judgement and valid conclusions. As currently even the samhitas are not taught and trained for their accurate comprehension of knowledge and true practical implications, everything is taught with poor clarity and comprehension and hence there is no question of emerging the knowledge of translational practie of Ayurvedic Science Based Medicine. For this reason, many people in conventional Ayurveda feels uncomfortable and blindly disregard Science Based Evidence Based Ayurveda which advocates  Precision Diagnosis and Medicine for the first time in the history of Ayurveda that openly challenge their established framework of uncertainity and thorough irrationality. Mere usage of scientific code of terminologies of Ayurveda without understanding their true meaning and contextual implications is one of the biggest catastrophe in Ayurveda today. The conventional Ayurveda does not find the necessity of accurate knowledge and comprehension of the deeply scientific fundamental logics, theorems and concepts of Ayurvedic science and prefers to stay in an idiotic comfort zone by considering anything and everything as okay owing to the lethargy and inability of the professional community to align with the hugely vast and complex scientific technical infrastructure of  the intended practice of Science Based Evidence Based Ayurveda(SBEBA). Besides pseudohumbleness is getting  cultured as soon as a student enters Ayurveda medical colleges as they are misled that it is a part of Indian tradition to show implicit obedience and surrendering to the words uttered by the faculties and never ask or argue with them based on their lectures. These students eventualy evolve into  similar authoritative faculties who hardly take responsibility for their words and actions as well as hardly appreciate any questions from their own students/ audience. Thus the professional students of Ayurveda grow into unprofessional physicians who are not confident enough to practice own system of Medicine in own body first and hence deviate to the current fancy practices of Integrated Medicine, Mixopathy or aimless polytherapy. As the scientific temper is deteroyed in the very first year itself by an extremely poor standard curriculum and training, they learn the crucial core learning Ayurvedic disciplines of Ayurvedic Physiology and Fundamental principles like imaginative stories and this continues in every year of disciplines. As the faculties are lacking orientation in Science Based Evidence Based Ayurveda, they cannot do justice to their students even if they wish so .But parallely when they find SBEBA emerging, growing and establishing the basic and applied science of Ayurveda with success, some of them feel passionate and become true aspirants of SBEBA which eventually become a cause of transformation in their life and career. But there is always a common trend of reluctance and irreceptivity towards anything which demands high level focus, unlearning and relearning especially after once the physicians secure degree and struggle to make livelihood and  unfortunately believe that learning is a hinderance to progress in earning. So they dismiss what is most crucially intended for them to become a quality physician worth for self and society and stay as blind medicine prescibers or Panchakarma advocates.

Anything which is counterintutive requires to be challenged openly with commonsense and intelligence and that is what rational thinking is originally by all means. Scientific progress is attained through scientific discourses and debates , When some long carried blind beliefs and experiences fail to explain and establish science in clinical practices,, then it is not the fault of the science concerned but rather points out at the possibility that the knowledge and understanding of the practitioner in the concerned science is flawed. The natural humility and innate passion and yearning for knowing true premises of a deterministic science and  attain deductive reasoning skills will only cause scientific temper and real  prospects in  career. Recognising flaws and challenging existing beliefs and paradigms in conventional Ayurveda medical practice, research and eductaion require incessant hard work in science and blessed confident conclusions emerging from the culture of long  unbised deciated translational research in Science Based Evidence Based Medicine of Ayurveda in variable realistic clinical situations. Blindly suppressing or ignoring anything which is unconventional stifles the potential of groundbreaking disciveries from a deterministic science which are crucial in saving and protecting mankind. It is only by the constant culturing of intelligence and attaining refined and accurate comprehension in the innate deep and complex concepts of Science Based Medicine of Ayurveda that Ayurveda medical practitioners can emerge as scientific medical professionals of the system. There are no short cuts and Business Based Medicine can never ever become Science Based Medicine and viceversa. Embracing the possibilities of being wrong allow us to explore the new unknown avenues of deeper and refined learning and evolution of intelligence and wisdom in profession that may ultimately lead to breakthroughs in Medical knowledge and research. Let us remember that publishing of anything is worth in a medical science only if it rationally explains scientific diagnosis in the subject and the scientific mode of healing in the same. Validation of a deterministic medical science is always meant to be done by the rational employment of the principles and parameters of the concerned science and in realistic clinical situations in the unique internal environment of patients .
We (myself and my husband) are currently the victims of prejudice, discrimination and endless  torture for our  blessed discoveries in SBEBA which are certainly groundbreaking and world changing. It could be our fate but we are blessed and eternally grateful that God has chosen us to ring the bell and awaken the sleeping Ayurveda community. Thank God ever
